The Friendly Voice of Central Montana
KXLO has served Central Montana for over half a century. Signing on the air on June 30, 1947, KXLO is home to top country music, featuring today’s hot country and yesterday’s all time favorites. Also featuring talk radio, KXLO brings our listeners the well-respected talk show ‘KXLO Live’, Evan Slack Ag News, Coast to Coast with George Noory, and several shows brought to you by the legendary Northern Ag Network.
KXLO is Central Montana’s reliable source for news, talk, and information on farm, ranch and the rural lifestyle; and we have the best country music around the state. We have faithfully informed and entertained our community for many years. From presidential State-of-the-Union to governors’ State-of-the-State, KXLO goes beyond what is expected.
We extend to the national and international fronts with Fox Radio News while also shifting to a state and local focus. KXLO covers news around the state of Montana as well as provides our listeners with a loyal dedication to community news and sporting events.
KXLO reaches listeners world-wide by streaming through the internet. People across the globe, from military personnel on a foreign assignment to the snow-birds in southern Arizona, report the joys of hearing their favorite local radio while spending time away home.
KXLO maintains a broadcast heritage that has gained respect throughout the Central Montana community and broadcast industry. We are located at 620 N.E Main, locally owned and operated and an active member of the Montana Broadcasters Association and the Society for Professional Journalists.

Playing the “Best Classic and Modern Rock Hits” has earned KLCM a mark of distinction in the Central Montana community. We pride ourselves on being relevant in today’s music scene as well as honoring the past by housing thousands of songs, using all digital programming, offering top flight production that sells, and giving the Central Montana listeners illustriously first-class DJ personalities. Good music, up-to-the-minute news, and dedicated sports coverage makes KLCM Central Montana’s favorite FM radio station.
Our DJ-hosted live shows spotlight listener requests and original music content to keep the fans coming back for more.
The Ultimate Morning Show (T.U.M.S), hosted by Ken Bergren and Nik St. Clair, bill themselves as “your morning ant-ASSids”, providing morning humor to get your day off to a big start. They focus on anthem rock from the 70’s, 90’s and today’s modern hits – but are known to play anything – including rap, disco, and country (EVEN Minnie Ripperton!).
The-Not-Morning-Not-Show airs daily, Monday-Friday, on KLCM and features our famously witty DJ, Jesse Jensen, taking you into the world of alternative music and stunningly crazy mind-chatter. Listener requests, anomalous music and Jesse’s extreme commentaries mark this show as a top-favorite with our younger listeners.
Ten years ago KLCM joined the internet streaming world to reach listeners across the globe. People everywhere, from military personnel on a foreign assignment to the snow-birds in Arizona, report the joys of hearing their favorite local radio while spending time away from home.
KLCM is located at 620 N.E Main, is locally owned and operated, and an active member of the Montana Broadcasters Association and the Society for Professional Journalists.
The Simulcast
Both stations can simulcast their programming. This is done annually for particular promotions, also for reporting election returns and major state, national, and international news, public affairs programming, certain news situations and/or serious conditions effecting our community, state, or nation.
