Shawna was demonstrating here on the Saturday of the Winter Fair, and she is doing us the pleasure of coming again to the Art Center on:
Saturday March 23
Participants will be painting and blending colors with Livestock Markers on fabric with experienced Lewistown quilter/painter Shawna Crawford. They can bring their own finished, pre-quilted table runner, or they can use Shawna’s finished, pre-quilted table runner. Please bring some used solid color fabric scraps, to practice with blending colors, ¼ yard or 1 fat ¼ yard. If you are not a quilter, Shawna will bring you a scrap. After the paints cure, you’ll be able to heat-set with Shawna’s directions. The material can be washed after heat-set.
Shawna will demonstrate stencil use and rubbing plates prior to the project. This will not be part of the finished product, but people will be able to practice-play.
Workshop Hours: 10 am – 3 pm Bring your own “working” lunch.
Livestock Markers Supplied.
Cost: LAC Members: $ 40, non-members: $50.
