Myhre appointed to Governor's Community Service Commission

Governor Steve Bullock today announced the following appointments.

 

Agriculture Land Valuation Advisory Committee

 

·         Jane DeBruckyer, Dutton. Qualification: Montana Public Representative. DeBruckyer is a rancher in Dutton.

 

Capitol Complex Advisory Council

 

·         Diane Sands, Missoula.  Qualification:  Montana Public Representative.  Sands is a former state legislator and was recently with the Fort Missoula Museum.

 

Community Service Commission

 

·         Kevin Mhyre, Lewistown.  Qualification:  Local Government Representative.  Myhre is the City Manager for the City of Lewistown.

 

·         Dustin Whitford, Box Elder.  Qualification:  Tribal Government Representative. Whitford is a Tribal Councilman for the Chippewa Cree Tribe.

 

Montana Council on Developmental Disabilities

 

·         Don Berryman, Anaconda.  Qualification:  Secondary Consumer.  Berryman is a family-advocate of a person with a developmental disability.

 

·         Marty Blair, Missoula.  Qualification:  University Program Representative.  Blair is with the Rural Institute at the University of Montana.

 

·         Bob DeJardins, Dillon.  Qualification:  Secondary Consumer.  DeJardins is a parent-advocate of a son with Autism.

 

·         Isaiah Devereaux, Glasgow.  Qualification:  Primary Consumer.  Devereaux is a self-advocate, a person with a developmental disability.

 

·         Debra Ekblom, Boulder.  Qualification:  Secondary Consumer.  Ekblom is a family-advocate of a person with a developmental disability.

 

·         Jacob Harrison, Helena.  Qualification:  Primary Consumer.  Harrison is a self-advocate, a person with a developmental disability.  He participates in Special Olympics and works at Helena Industries.

 

·         Matt Kuntz, Helena.  Qualification:  Advocacy Organization.  Kuntz is the Executive Director of NAMI Montana.

 

·         Carley Lefthand-Irvine, Polson.  Qualification:  Primary Consumer.  Lefthand-Irvine is a self-advocate, a person with a developmental disability. 

 

·         Virgeana Brown, Belgrade.  Qualification:  Secondary Consumer.  Brown is a family-advocate of a child with a developmental disability.

 

·         Shawn Parker, Box Elder.  Qualification:  Primary Consumer.  Parker is a self-advocate, a person with a developmental disability.

 

·         Blake Reese, Columbia Falls.  Qualification:  Primary Consumer.  Reese is a self-advocate, a person with a developmental disability.

 

·         Nanette Whiteman-Holmes, Helena.  Qualification:  Secondary Consumer.  Brown is a family-advocate of a person with a developmental disability.

 

Historical Society Board of Trustees

 

·         George Dennison, Missoula.  Qualification:  Montana Public Representative.  Dennison is the former University President of the University of Montana.

 

Board of Milk Control

 

·         Erik Somerfeld, Power.  Qualification:  Public Representative, Democrat.  Somerfeld is a farmer and serves on his local volunteer fire department.

 

Board of Plumbers

 

·         Donna Paulson, Great Falls.  Qualification:  Montana Public Representative.  Paulson is a controller for B&B Heating and Air Conditioning in Great Falls.

 

Board of Private Security

 

·         Dirk Bauwens, Billings.  Qualification:  Representative of Electronic Security Company.  Bauwens is with Kenco Security and Technology in Billings.

 

·         Jim Thomas, Canyon Creek.  Qualification:  Public Safety Officers Training and Safety Council Member.  Thomas has a background in Law Enforcement.

 

Small Business Health Insurance Pool Board of Directors (Insure Montana)

 

·         Tim O’Leary, Missoula.  Qualification:  Representative of Small Business Community.  O’Leary is co-owner of the Kettlehouse Brewery in Missoula.

 

Statewide Independent Living Council

 

·         Mary Olson, Missoula.  Qualification:  Representative of the Disabilities Community.  Olson is a student research assistant with the Rural Institute on Disabilities in Missoula.
